Spotlight on A21

A21 is one of the organizations that we’re proud to partner with here at Remnant Studios. A portion of proceeds from every purchase goes towards supporting their work.

We discovered the work of A21 in early 2014 as Remnant Studios was coming to life. By then, we knew that fighting human trafficking was going to be our mission, but we became sure that A21 would get our support when we saw the passion of its founder, Christine Caine, at a live event. She shared about the monumental offensive that A21 was mounting against slavery and we became determined to join them.

Their mission is to abolish slavery everywhere, forever. Even in these difficult times, they’re on the frontlines every day disrupting demand and freeing people who have been trafficked. Their work doesn’t end there, though. They’re in it for the long haul with survivors. It’s not just about getting them out of their immediate situations, but also continuing to support them for however long they need. The ultimate goal is getting them back on their feet so they can eventually support themselves independently.

Injustice doesn’t stop, even for pandemics, so neither do they. They’re continuing to serve the survivors in their care area by providing them with health care, making sure they have essential food and hygiene items, teaching them life skills on hygiene, providing accommodation and financial support, and utilizing technology to make sure that they have the support they need during this challenging time.

Michelle Parrozzo, A21’s Director of Strategic Partnerships, says “The best thing is truly being able to change someone's entire world. Our team across the world is crazy enough to believe we can actually change the world, but I can guarantee that joining us in this fight you can change someone's entire world.”
